Why go for a condensing combi boiler

Over the last few years only good things have happened for the consumer. Energy costs being as they are have meant that manufacturers of domestic appliances have been investing a lot of time and money in developing products designed to save energy. Energy efficiency means saving money, and that is something that every UK household needs to do these days.

One of the greatest innovations in home heating technology over the last few years has been the combi boiler. Virtually sending the old back boiler design into the history books, home owners who invested in replacing their old boiler with a combi; have more than made up the money invested not only in terms of cost savings but also in the tremendous convenience of having just enough hot water on top all year round.

To use that well known phrase "time and tide wait for no man" the companies who brought the combi boiler to the UK market have not been resting on their laurels. Around two years ago an exciting variation on the design of combi boilers has hit the market and has capture a fair share of it, equally among those who are building a new property or updating their water and central heating system.

Condensing combi boilers operate pretty much the same way as the standard combi heater boiler. The design of the condensing units which are integral allows for maximum heat retention. Also, condensing combi boilers can be readily tuned to operating on a slow but steady basis. If the unit is tuned to a high setting, but to operate for a shorter time, it will generate considerable heat and maintain it. This means considerable energy savings in gas, as the boiler only needs to be operated once a day and not several times, as has been the case with the combi.

UK home owners who made upgraded from a conventional gas boiler to a combi have completely changed the way that they manage their energy consumption, and only for the better.

Taking the next step to a condensing combi can only bring improved results and energy savings. Their home is warmer and more comfortable, hot water is on tap all day long, and their energy bills are going down.

Having a warm home should be every UK citizen's goal, ensuring their family's health and well being, with a combi condensing boiler it is very much within their reach.
