Combination Boilers
Combination Boilers activate on demand, which means less wasted energy and no need for water tanks or cylinders.
Combination boilers work on providing instantaneous hot water. However, the flow can be limited if there are other taps running at the same time.
Advantages:
- They are tough and reliable
- They are also economical to run and can provide a vast amount of hot water
- There is no requirement for costly hot water storage
- Labour and material saving
- Easy to Install
- Instantaneous hot water
- Drinking water from all taps

Disadvantages:
- Rates can be higher than that of a storage system
- Require more wall space
- No stored hot and cold water
- May be difficult to repair if there is a fault
- Can be a delay in summer until the boiler reaches working temperature
- Reduced flow when multiple taps are running
