How is British Gas Electricity generated?
British Gas are now giving their electricity customers details of the energy sources they use to generate electricity.
British Gas has done the most to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions according to WWF - UK in July 2005.
Environmental impacts
The amount of CO2 that is produced as a result of generation is 354.50g/kWh and the amount of radioactive waste that is produced from generation is 0.00262g/kWh.
