More about the Feed-in Tariff
To encourage the production and use of low-carbon energy the Government has introduced the Feed-In Tariff.
If you generate electricity from a renewable source, you could be paid for every kilowatt hour produced – even if you use it yourself! You could also receive payment for unused electricity if it is fed back into the National Grid.
Payment periods are at least 20 years (25 years for solar photovoltaic panels) and you could earn as much as £22,490!
